World Model Kid Participation Terms and Conditions

World Model Kid is a digital platform operated by WMK Digital LLC that allows participants to register, publish their profiles, receive votes and support, participate in different stages of qualification, and access certain services related to participation.

By registering a participant, continuing to use World Model Kid , or performing any actions within the platform, the user declares that they have read and accepted these Terms and Conditions.

1. Participant Registration

World Model Kid allows parents, guardians or responsible adults to register children to participate in its selection and classification processes.

The person making the registration declares that:

The person registering is of legal age.
The person registering has sufficient authorization to register the participant.
The information provided is correct.
The person registering has authorization to publish the provided photographs.
The person registering agrees that certain participant data may be publicly visible as part of that participant's participation.

World Model Kid may request additional verifications when it deems it necessary to confirm the user's identity, authorization regarding the participant, or any information related to registration.

If it is determined that a participant was registered without sufficient authorization, World Model Kid may suspend or delete the profile.

2. Public Profile

In order for a participant to be eligible to take part in World Model Kid , certain information may be publicly displayed, including, as applicable:

Participant's name.
Photographs.
Age or date of birth expressed partially.
Country that the participant represents.
Participant status in the competition.
Number of votes or support received.
Position within a ranking.
Phase, stage or situation of the competition.

3. Authorization for the use of images

By uploading photographs or material related to a participant, the user declares that they have the necessary rights and authorizations to do so.

The user authorizes World Model Kid to use the photographs, name, country and other material voluntarily submitted for the purpose of:

Show participant profile.
Publicize that participant's participation in the contest.
Display results, rankings, or classifications.
Publish content related to World Model Kid on World Model Kid websites, social media, digital publications, promotional materials and media related to the project.

4. How World Model Kid Works

World Model Kid can organize participation through different seasons, phases, stages, classifications, objectives, or selection mechanisms.

The specific conditions for each phase can be displayed directly within the platform.

5. Voting

Users can support participants using the voting mechanisms available on World Model Kid .

To validate certain votes or other activities on the platform, World Model Kid may request authentication or verification through systems available on the platform, including email; WhatsApp ; Facebook ; Messenger ; Instagram ; Telegram ; Google ; or other mechanisms.

6. Validation

In the event of verifying votes made using automated, recurring and programmatic digital systems or spam, World Model Kid may invalidate the votes and/or take other measures such as limiting functionalities, suspending profiles, disqualifying the participant, when there are reasonable indications of irregularity.

World Model Kid may also request additional information to verify the authenticity of certain entries, votes, or other activities on the platform.

7. Classifications and positions

The positions shown within World Model Kid may vary throughout the participation.

A given position does not generate an acquired right until the corresponding result has been reviewed and declared final by World Model Kid .

If irregular votes, technical errors, duplicates, fraud or other circumstances that legitimately affect the result are subsequently detected, World Model Kid may make the necessary corrections even if this results in changes to a ranking.

8. Bonus Votes

World Model Kid may offer, at certain phases or times, the possibility of acquiring Bonus Votes to support a participant.

Bonus Votes are an optional digital service independent of ordinary votes.

Bonus Votes are available in the National, International, and Final phases of the virtual casting. In each phase, they can be used up to three (3) times per participant, in packages of 10, 20, and 50 Bonus Votes , for a price of USD 5, USD 10, and USD 15, respectively.

When making a purchase, the user voluntarily selects the participant to whom they wish to credit the Bonus Votes .

Once payment is confirmed and Bonus Votes are credited to the participant, the service is considered to be provided immediately.

Once the Bonus Votes have been correctly credited to the participant:

Bonus Votes cannot be transferred to another participant.
Bonus Votes cannot be removed from the ranking at the buyer's request.
Bonus Votes cannot be carried over to another season.
Bonus Votes cannot be converted into cash or credit.

The purchase cannot be cancelled solely because the user changed their mind.

The subsequent elimination, withdrawal or disqualification of the participant does not in itself generate the right to a refund.

The participant's failure to qualify for the next phase does not in itself generate a right to a refund.

This is because the service is executed immediately, the crediting of Bonus Votes can affect the participant's position and the ranking of other participants, and it is considered an immediate, non-transferable, irreversible, and personalized digital service.

9. Voluntary withdrawal of the participant

The responsible user can request or perform the removal of a participant using the options available on the platform.

The voluntary withdrawal of a participant does not automatically reverse actions previously taken within the contest nor does it generate a refund for digital services that have already been provided.

10. Disqualification

World Model Kid may disqualify a participant when it determines that:

The participant does not meet the participation requirements.
False information was provided.
The participant's registration was carried out without sufficient authorization.
Attempts were made to breach the security systems.
There was a serious or repeated breach of these Terms and Conditions.

Disqualification does not automatically generate the right to recover payments corresponding to services that were already correctly provided.

11. Winners of previous seasons

A participant who has won first place in the World Model Kid World Final in a previous season will not be eligible to compete again for the title of winner in a subsequent season.

This condition applies to the actual person participating (the child) and not to the digital profile used to register them.

Therefore, creating a new profile, using another account, or registering through another user does not make the participant a different person for the purposes of this rule.

If a previous winner participates again and achieves a position within the final rankings subject to this restriction, World Model Kid may remove them from such rankings and assign the corresponding positions to the next participants.

Participation in contravention of this condition does not generate the right to a refund of digital services that have been correctly provided during that participation.

12. Awards and recognitions

The awards, recognitions, publications, sessions, certificates, or other benefits corresponding to each season will be those announced for that season.

When a prize requires the collaboration of the winner or their family —for example, providing photographs, participating in sessions, interviews, delivering documentation or logistical coordination— the responsible user must collaborate reasonably to allow its realization.

World Model Kid may substitute any component of a prize when its realization is impossible due to circumstances beyond its control, endeavoring to maintain an equivalent nature or value where reasonably possible.

13. Technical errors

World Model Kid takes reasonable steps to keep the platform available and its results properly recorded.

However, errors, interruptions, connectivity problems, third-party failures, or technical incidents may temporarily occur.

When an error is detected that has affected votes, rankings, payments, or any other element of participation, World Model Kid may make the necessary corrections to restore the situation that would reasonably have occurred without the error.

The existence of a visual or transient error does not in itself generate an acquired right over a position or result incorrectly displayed.

14. Proper use of the platform

The user agrees not to use World Model Kid for:

Illegal activities.
Harassing or harming other participants.
Posting offensive content, posting illegal content, or posting content that violates the rights of third parties.
Attempting to access systems or information without authorization.
Interfere with the normal operation of the platform.
Manipulating voting processes.
Impersonating other people.

World Model Kid may restrict access to those who violate these rules.

15. Communications related to participation

World Model Kid may contact the responsible user using the means provided during registration when necessary to:

Manage participation.
Validate information.
Resolve incidents.
Communicate results.
Communicate relevant changes.
Manage awards.
Handle support or security requests for the platform.

These communications directly related to participation can be made regardless of the user's preferences regarding promotional communications.

16. Data protection

The processing of personal data is regulated by the World Model Kid Privacy Policy, which forms part of the legal information applicable to the use of the platform.

By accepting these Terms and Conditions, the user declares that they have had access to said Privacy Policy.

17. Changes in World Model Kid

World Model Kid may make reasonable changes to:

Platform design.
Authentication methods.
Voting systems.
Available features.
Security mechanisms.
Organization of future seasons or phases.
Optional services.

Changes that substantially affect the terms of an ongoing participation will be communicated as appropriate.

The conditions applicable to participation will be those in force at the relevant time, unless a modification is necessary for reasons of security, fraud, legal compliance or technical operation.

18. Modification of these Terms

World Model Kid may update these Terms and Conditions when necessary.

The current version will be available on the platform.

When substantial modifications are made that require new acceptance, World Model Kid may ask the user to accept the terms again before continuing to use certain features.

19. Limitation of liability

World Model Kid does not guarantee that a participant:

Receive a certain number of votes.
Reach a specific position.
I reached a later stage of the competition.
Win a prize.

The result depends on participation, valid votes obtained, the rules corresponding to each stage, and other factors inherent to the functioning of the contest.

World Model Kid is also not responsible for actions taken by third parties outside the platform, including the copying or redistribution of content that has been legitimately published publicly.

Nothing in this section excludes liabilities that cannot be legally excluded.
